ALASKA: AKA “The Last Frontier”
This is an incredible on the ground trip to view what I call the “Spine of Alaska” to get a taste of land, sea and sky! A thrill for the senses but yet safely on the ground!
We will explore the ocean outside of Seward, take a small boat out to view Bald Eagles, puffins, and whales as well as a melting glacier. We will take in the drama of Denali National Park- the multi colored mountains and may see a bear or 2 along the way!
Finally we will take a small group tour out with a couple who are passionate about the Northern Lights- in fact they were married under them!
It’s a PLACE that definitely is OFF the Beaten Path, and planning is key, where the people have come for a variety of reasons and many stay!

April chose some very scenic places throughout Alaska for us to tour and take pictures (2,000 plus, may I add). As we drove in a roomy SUV rental car, we were able to stop in quaint eateries, slept in delightful B&B’s and lodges, not the traditional hotels/motels, and periodically stopped along the roadside to take glorious pictures of some of the most beautiful landscapes in America.- Sharyn P.

December is quiet season when you can really breathe in the clear air, watch the waves, and observe the birds that start to migrate in from colder places. Highlights:

This is the second year I have done this tour with April. Both trips April planned were different places for us to photograph and eat great food while enjoying the holiday festivities. I love the ocean so traveling up & down the central coast was a magical getaway for me. April is super knowledgeable about places to see and if Plan A doesn’t work out, we are happy to tackle Plan B! Magical Maine

Maine- With a Tidal Coastline longer than California at 3478 miles you could easily spend weeks exploring all the harbors, inlets and coastal towns that dot the shoreline. In Autumn Maine is awash in soft light, fewer cars, and the glow of Autumn leaves against the water!

She also booked us into some of the nicest B&Bs in the area, and took us to good restaurants nearby. She was always available to give advice on photos and use of your camera to get the best shots. April did all the driving as well, and is a safe and skilled driver. She was very flexible in planning our route to meet everyone's individual interests; not all on our trip were avid photographers, and some of the photographers were not avid shoppers, so she arranged to split the group activities to meet everyone's needs. New England

New England is THE place to be come October, visitors from all over the WORLD travel to these postage stamp states to marvel in the Colors of Autumn. Having your camera out is part of our journey, but we also take time to sample local cuisine did I say Maple, did I say pumpkin, or maybe Lobster?

The United States really left a mark here and today we can still walk in those footsteps of Artists, poets, writers and inventors!

April made our trip planning process painless! Traveling to Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to experience the fall foliage had been on our bucket list for years. Fall Foliage Tour Oct 2021
My first trip to see fall colors in New England was spectacular! April had excellent and fun excursions planned for every day of the week. We got up for sunrise shots and stayed out for sunset and night shots in beautiful locations. The towns and small boutique hotels/ B&Bs that April chose were so interesting and historic. Even though I was not as experienced a photographer as the rest of the group, I was able to get amazing photos on both my camera and my phone! Culinary Tour France

A Unique Culinary Experience in Southern France - This is not a large group tour! We only offer tours in small groups of between 6-8 people 

- Our week is created by professional chefs with food & wine lovers in mind 

 - Our years of working in and living in France are brought together to offer you an enriching experience 

- You will be guided by a professional chef through classic and modern recipes, learning skills that you can apply to your home cooking. Whether you are an occasional or avid cook there is something for all food & wine lovers to enjoy during this magical week.

The mostly shaded route has riverside views, runs through Gunpowder Falls state park, and offers a great venue for a beginners gravel bike tour. The NCR trail provides recreation for many locals who use the gently sloped trails for a variety of activities. You’ll be sure to see walkers, runners, cyclists, fishermen, and even tubers on your trip. Keep your eyes peeled for the coal powered historic train that runs on a section of old tracks on the Pennsylvania side of the trail.
While the terrain is not difficult, the views are still incredible. The NCR takes our group along rivers, through state parks, and right by the main streets of several cute small towns. The relaxed mileage and nature of this trip allows for riders of all skill levels to enjoy the route and have time for exploring.
